SOFT TISSUE TECHNIQUES
Guided manipulation of scar tissue in muscles, ligaments and tendons to increase range of motion and alleviate pain. Fascial Manipulation, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, pin and stretch and other techniques best fitted for you.
FASCIAL MANIPULATION (FM)
An evidence-based treatment for pain relief which involves manual treatment of the myofascial system to restore muscular balance and reduce stiffness. The goal of fascial manipulation is to restore gliding along fascial layers and normal activation of myofascial lines of tension. A safe and effective alternative to patients seeking pain relief without the risk of surgery or drugs.
CUPPING
Alternative therapy that involves placing cups on the skin to create suction. Cupping increases blood circulation to the area where the cups are placed. This may relieve muscle tension, which can improve overall blood flow and promote cell repair. It is a great method to help relieve back and neck pains, stiff muscles, fatigue and anxiety.
GRASTON
AKA instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization. Graston helps to break up deep scar tissue and adhesions and promotes a significantly faster recovery time. Benefits: faster rehabilitation and recovery, decreased treatment time, reduced need for anti-inflammatory medication.
KINESIOTAPING
This taping method alleviates pain, reduces inflammation, assists in lymphatic drainage and guides the new ligament, tendon and fascial fibers into the proper orientation.
THERAPEUTIC EXERCISES
Refers to a wide range of physical activities that focus on restoring and maintaining strength, endurance, flexibility, stability and balance. These exercises are meant to safely return you to a fully functioning, pain-free state.
